ECO frequencies: binaural therapy
"ECO frequencies: binaural therapy" is a cultural project of participatory activation through art, where nature, binaural music and art therapy share the same frequency line. The project aims to make people aware of the importance of conserving natural spaces in urban areas and raising awareness of their role in mental health.
The project is curated by Plastic Art Performance Collective, that proposes multimedia concepts and creations at the intersection of art and ecology, and is co-funded by Administration of the National Cultural Fund, Romania.

>> The human body reacts when it touches the ground. This explains why people in the past used to walk barefoot and always sit directly on the ground, in a position that would allow them as much contact as possible with him. The contact with the earth equates the vital reconnection of the body with its energy source and restores the stability of the system, amplifying the body's ability to regenerate.
>> There is a constant circuit of plastic in nature. It covers, prevents and suffocates nature from naturally following its path. Nothing grows out of plastic, everything struggles to live in plastic.
>> The purpose of the event is to draw attention to the reconnection of the body with the earth.

>> The concept of the immersive event you are invited to, HYPNAGOGIA, talks about the dream state between wakefulness and sleep. It can induce visions, more or less human and animal faces, strange voices, landscapes, shapes, symbols and introspections, premonitions and even entopic lights (flashes of color).

>> Vegetation patterns are changing at a rapid pace. A cause? Urbanization without regard for nature.
>> Air quality is deteriorating day by day. The time of the Sun flows through the air conditioners set to maximum. Global warming is leading to radical weather changes. Plants are affected. Animals are affected. Insects are affected by global warming, excessive consumption of resources. We are causing massive changes that are taking hold in nature at lightning speed. I never saw the stars in my town.
>> Through this event, we turn our attention to urban natural spaces. The only places where we are still protected. Often, however, car horns and engines are found here too, merging with the crickets.
